Skye is an exuberant girl (approx 2 years old) who looks like a Shepherd mixed with ? and has the prowess and energy the breed is well known for. She would make a great agility dog with her physical talents and drive! . She is fabulous with all humans, but can be dominant with other dogs and therefore would do best as an only dog or with a submissive male dog. Skye would be too much dog for a home with a small dog or cat. She settles well in her crate but would not do well being confined for long periods of time. Because of her energy level and enthusiasm, Skye would not be an appropriate choice for small children or seniors. She will need access to a fenced in area so that she can safely run and play. A yard with invisible fence would be considered if it is in a safe location. Her adoption fee is $250 and includes neutering, heartworm testing, and vaccinations. Applicants should reside within a 50 mile radius of Ithaca, NY that a home inspection can be conducted as part of the adoption process.
